Edith Thai

Edith Thai practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence. She has routinely demonstrated her commitment to exceptional advocacy, representing her clients in jurisdictions throughout the province. Edith developed an exceptional skill set and work ethic while articling with Student Legal Assistance, under the direct supervision of Michelle Christopher, Q.C., assisting low income individuals who were in dire need of legal representation.

Since beginning her own practice, Edith has been committed to ensuring each of her clients receives the highest quality of representation. She tirelessly investigates and applies every available defence, focusing on her client’s unique circumstances and priorities.  Regardless of the issue, Edith provides her clients with a diligent, strategic defence that is focused on meeting her clients’ goals.

Edith has a specific interest in providing access to justice. As such, she remains a member of the Legal Aid roster and devotes a portion of her practice to pro-bono services and reduced fee services.
